| Much like the Curator-In-Residence
program, the Critic-In-Residence program seeks to expose the
regional arts community to both staff and contract arts writers
and critics. In this case, the Invisible Museum's Board of Directors
reviews the national and international art press and makes invitations
to writers of its choosing. There is no specific application
process for the Critic-In-Residence program.
Similar to the Curator program, the writers are provided
with travel expenses, housing and a modest stipend for their
residency. Once in the region, the writers will be involved
in visits to and connections with the regional art press,
participate in panel discussions and make visits to area
art exhibits, galleries and museums.
